Kirkheaton Tractor Fest

We had the pleasure of hosting a stall at our local Tractor Fest, and despite the dreadful weather, it turned out to be a fantastic experience! We were overwhelmed with visitors—families, children (some who came back multiple times!), and individuals—eager to learn about our bees and beekeeping.

Many were excited to try and spot our queen in the observation hive. It was heartwarming to hear the children cheer when they found the queen and to witness their curiosity while wearing our 'bee glasses,' modeled here by one of our local police volunteers!

Huddersfield Beekeeping Association 2024 Beginners:
Hive Frame Production

I was asked to come along to my local Beekeeping Association to demonstrate how I build our hive frames using a brad nailer instead of the traditional hammer and nails. It was great to see so many new members that were keen to learn and network.

Bee Keeping Show 2024

We attended The Bee Keeping Show held in the Telford International Centre and we were very busy networking and purchasing!

We were able to collect our brand new Noochii Hive which we are very excited about and also had a great chat with the designer and owner Mark who built it. Check out more of his work here https://www.noochiihive.com/whylong

We also managed to catch up with Lawrence from Black Mountain Honey for a chat and selfie. Head to Lawrences site here https://www.blackmountainhoney.co.uk/
